New issue 15034 by mahaniok: "Copy" in context menu doesn't work on Linux in Gmail http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15034 Chrome Version : 3.0.189.0 (Official Build 18569) OS + version : Ubuntu hardy CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64 bit window manager : Gnome URLs (if applicable) : gmail.com Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): works Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): works What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. open any thread in Gmail 2. select a few words in the message 3. right-click, "Copy" 4. go to some text edit box and right-click, "Paste" What is the expected result? Pastes selected region from Gmail What happens instead? Pastes previous clipboard value Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. Somehow it's impossible to copy-paste stuff from Gmail, using context menu (always reproduces). It works with Ctrl+C.
