The original request in this issue is deleting the downloaded file: (quoting the OP) "there is no way to trash files from within chrome. It requires opening the folder where it downloaded the files and deleting it from there." So, apparently, this issue is about "deleting the file by using the download shelf". (or at least it was about that at the moment it was written).
