New issue 16696 by CalebEgg: Find-on-page breaks if you search before page is loaded http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16696 Chrome Version : 3.0.192.0 (Official Build 19969) OS + version : Ubuntu Jaunty CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32 window manager : Metacity What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to a page that takes some time to load. Here are some: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:LongPages 2. Search for something that is not present in the page with ctrl+F (I suggest using the clipboard if your internet connection is fast) 3. It shows 0 of 0, which is expected 4. After the page loads, press the previous or next buttons What is the expected result? Shows "1 of 1" (or "1 of n") and locates and highlights the search term. What happens instead? Shows "1 of 0" and scrolls to where the term is, but does not highlight it Attachments: cr_find_bug.png 5.3 KB -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
