Comment #1 on issue 16906 by [email protected]: Browser's child process
produces 100% CPU load
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16906
if i visit this url by clicking on the url you posted in this issue (it
opens at the
same tab)- everything is fine, the car is deleted smoothly and CPU load
isn't that
high
BUT
if i Ctrl-click that link (so it opens in a new tab) the car isn't "erased"
on
mouseover at all, the wheel cursor moves really slow and CPU load gets
REALLY high
in fact i couldn't close the tab without ending the task in chrome's task
manager
Safari acts the same as chrome (including the CPU load and the difference
between new
tab and current tab), i had to close it with windows task manager
FF run this really smoothly, it does put relatively high load on the CPU
but not as
high as in chrome/safari and the car is "erased" smoothly
IE8 run this badly, car is "erased" slowly, the wheel cursor is jumpy and
CPU load
is really high- and yet better than chrome/safari
