Comment #9 on issue 18192 by [email protected]: Intermittent ERR_CONNECTION_RESET for web page at null http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18192
I'm sure the problem frequency was steadily increasing over the last few days. However, following a suggestion I found in a forum, I tried clearing the cache. The problem has now almost gone away, but not quite, in that I've so far had it just once since (where previously it would probably have occurred some tens of times in the same period). I'm therefore wondering whether perhaps there was some sort of race going on between looking up data in a cluttered cache and trying to retrieve it from the web site, where if the cache data was found too late, it could cause the web connection to be reset (which wasn't handled correctly) instead of making it unnecessary to start with. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
