Comment #12 on issue 19153 by [email protected]: password manager can't
handle google apps across multiple domains
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19153

So, I must be doing it wrong, because it's working for me as I remember it
working
(specifically for google apps, this was one of my primary use cases). Here
is what I
tried and it worked:

1. Went to www.google.com/a/google.com and logged in with 'timsteele';
saved.
2. Went to www.google.com/a/timsteeles.com.
3. Noticed that 'timsteele' was prefilled in the user/pass fields, as
expected.
4. Overwrote it with my 'tim' account at timsteeles.com and signed in;
saved.
5. Went back to google.com/a/google.com, and the *only* option is
now 'timsteele', as
expected.
6. Went back to google.com/a/timsteeles.com, and the *only* option is
now 'tim', as
expected.
7. Went to gmail (google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin), and *both* tim and
timsteele are
suggested, as expected.
8. Logged in with 'timsteele41' @gmail, and now returning here only shows
timsteele41, as expected.

So it appears it is at least partly working as it used to. But the fact
that no one
here seems to have noticed that this "forking" actually takes place means
there must
be an actual bug somewhere...
