Yes, it looks like this is a bug with autoscroll. Middle click works fine
on linux
(and blocks pasting). Middle click also works on Windows if there are no
scroll bars
(ie., it would not trigger autoscroll).
The autoscroll code is in WebKit, so we should upstream the bug (although
we should
probably upstream a fix, shouldn't be too hard).
