Comment #3 on issue 19721 by jjnhendriks: Don't display user name in an
editable text box when re-login is required
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19721

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your prompt answer.
I understand that the "internet café" scenario is currently not supported.
I hope that this will be taken in account in the future.

With "both login once", I meant one single PC, with no or one real profile,
today
user A uses Chrome and logs in with his Google account for syncing, next
day user B
startsup Chrome and logs in with his google account for syncing.
The shared PC scenario, indeed referred in this bug. When this bug is
solved, this
won't be able anymore and avoid mixing up bookmarks.

But the demand for profiles feature will grow.
Indeed, not specific for syncing bookmarks, but also for syncing future
data, the use
of themes, settings etc... (Would be great for syncing also in the future
to have one
same Chrome everywhere).

At home, I can indeed easily add an extra Windows profile, but it becomes
harder when
you are at a friends place where you ask to use internet, and you first
need to
create an extra profile on his PC before using Chrome with your own
bookmarks.

Anyway thanks for the tip --user-data-dir , I'll try that at home.

Goodluck with fixing this bug, and hope you'll take my feature requests
(mentioned
above) in consideration.

Regards,

Jeroen
