I do not understand the status of this. It's been merged with issue 19940....and issue 19940 has been listed as merged with this one? A circle? How about a response (avoiding a script hack) in terms of whether or not this feature is on the table by Chrome dev's as being considered/ignored/etc? Myself and many others on dial-up would love to give Chrome a go. In order to keep our sanity during page load, this is a needed feature. If it's being looked into and not expected to be implemented for another year, at least say so.
