@jon - If this issue is due to poorly written javascript or Flash apps, why don't we see so much CPU utilization with other browsers? I am on latest Chrome beta version 3.0.195.20 (Official Build 25970) XP sp3, Intel Core Duo T2400 with 3 GB RAM and opening few web pages with Flash simply makes Chrome unusable.
