Comment #2 on issue 11112 by PdDo1300: Chaining tabs together http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=11112
An extension in firefox has similar functionality to what I'm proposing: the multiple tab handler extension lets you select multiple tabs the way way you highlight text, you can the drag them together, close them or move them to a new window simultaneously, and perform most of the other context menu functions on them together. What it doesn't do is allow their relative positions to be locked, _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ /Tab A\/Tab B\/Tab C\ ===> /Tab A==Tab B==Tab C\ in the above scenario regardless of whether the link is being opened from tab A or B, or it is a tab being dragged by the user it cannot be placed between tabs A and B or tabs B and C. My mention of key combination was merely to be used when selecting which tabs are to be linked, in terms of identifying which tabs are connected it could be done with colors, which would be easily identifiable but is a little distracting and limited in terms of number of colors to use, or via some sort of icon between connected tabs. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
