New issue 22161 by wjspear: Window position restored on wrong monitor http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=22161 Chrome Version : 4.0.207.0 OS + version : Fedora 11 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): x86_64 window manager : Gnome URLs (if applicable) : N/A Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Works What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Position the Chrome window on the secondary monitor 2. Close the window 3. Launch Chrome again What is the expected result? The window opens in the position it held when it was closed. What happens instead? The window opens on the primary monitor, in roughly the position it held on the secondary monitor accounting for differences in screen size. If it was maximized on the secondary when closed, it opens maximized on the primary. If it was shifted to the left/right on the secondary it will open similarly positioned on the primary. When closed on the primary monitor the window position is restored correctly. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. This system's xorg.conf (attached) is configured for two monitors of different sizes using the Nvidia driver and Xinerama. "The warning Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0.0"." shows up periodically when X applications are launched but this has never caused any obvious problems.
