Comment #6 on issue 19355 by xavier.roart: Google Reader "View Original" shortcut should open in background, not foreground http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19355
Hi all, I have the same workflow as william.furr, with this preference to the keyboard use. I can perfectly understand that some users may want to have them opened in a "focus stealing" tab. On the other side, I also like this behaviour in Gmail and other sites. That's why adding a different shortcut in each of the potential concerned google apps doesn't seems to me as a benefit in comparison with a setting driven by the browser (and then come tricky question about the consistency of this shortcut across the apps). If I want a shortcut to toggle on/off this feature, I will look for it in the shortcut manager of the browser (if available). I am so used to this behaviour that it is now, for me, a mandatory criteria for choice of the browsers I am using. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
