Comment #11 on issue 19978 by [email protected]: Chrome on Linux
ignores some Window Manager behaviors
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19978

evan, why are you emulating window title bars at all? I don't understand
that.

The solution to this bug is: Make it possible to let the *window manager*
(kwin,
metacity, fvwm ...) draw and handle the title bar. Just like it should be.
Just like
99,99999% of all other applications do it.

I also can confirm that the buttons disappear when I select "Use system
title bar and
borders".

I also configured my window manager (kwin) differently to the "usual"
behaviour:
Double clicking lowers the window on my machine.

This was the first thing I really didn't like when I started Chromium the
first time.
And it really sucks when a single application overrides the user configured
window
manager behaviour.
