I think for the most part we're trying to match the feel of GTK+ apps,
which would
mean matching metacity or compiz. So it's probably best to keep middle
click as doing
nothing and right click as bringing up a context menu.
I realize this isn't a great answer, but that seems to be what we're doing
with double
clicking the titlebar (maximize vs window shade in kwin).
