Chrome Version : 4.0.211.2-r26474 OS + version : Ubuntu Jaunty (kernel 2.6.28-15-generic) CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64-bit AMD Turion ML-30 window manager : Gnome URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. 'ps ax | grep defunct' shows several defunct processes like this entry '12153 ? Z 0:00 [chrome-sandbox] <defunct>'. The number of such entries keep growing over time. The browser also becomes slow. What is the expected result? No defunct processes What happens instead? See lots of defunct chrome-sandbox processes Please provide any additional information below.
