Comment #27 on issue 20989 by wilberfan: Linux: using a proxy with plugins cause pages to hang http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=20989
I've been getting this 'page hang' scenario for several builds now (the last month or so?). 32-bit Debian Sid-based (Sidux) with XFCE. I do NOT have the plugin option enabled. I'm running (at the moment) 4.0.223.11 thru BFilter. (I also get it on my Debian Squeeze/Gnome/BFilter system.) When a page hangs I can't close chromium normally--I have to manually kill the thread(s) (via htop). A test right now has digg.com and latimes.com hung. (The latimes.com site hangs almost every time for me.) I can't close the browser normally--but I CAN open new tabs while the digg and times tabs are hung. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
