Comment #34 on issue 19587 by jonasdiemer: Chromium Fails to call adobe to open PDFs files http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19587
I am also unable to view any PDF with 4.0.225.0 (Ubuntu build 30028) and acroread 9.1.3. "Adobe Reader 9.1" appears twice in about:plugins here also (maybe due to multiple symlinks to nppdf.so?). Anything I can provide to debug this? Its really annoying that PDFs don't work when clicked (I have to download them first). An external viewer would be enough for me, embedding in browser is not required. Is there a way to enable an external pdf viewer? Interestingly, adobe flash works just fine... -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
