Comment #5 on issue 20210 by [email protected]: Enter login proxy a lot of times http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=20210
In general what we need is a way to reproduce the problem, so we can see why it happens and fix it. Many proxy-related bugs are hard to reproduce, possibly because they often only happen with certain proxy software or with unusual proxy configurations. (For instance I have set up a proxy that requires authentication and I've never been able to cause this or most other similar bugs to occur.) Information that might help would be what proxy software you are using on the proxy server, and how it is configured. Also, how Chromium is configured to use the proxy, and what sites you have observed this problem with. A network trace showing the traffic sent between Chromium and the proxy might also be useful, to help see how Chromium interacts with the proxy when the problem occurs. (Such a trace might contain passwords, so you might want to change it first so it will not contain your real password.) (Also, is the original problem the same as comment 3, or is it different? That comment does have specific instructions for how to reproduce a problem, involving what looks like it could be some sort of race condition. I haven't tried following them myself though.) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
