1. I'm running chrome on a brand new samsung n130. I'd be suprised if samsung deployed malware as part of their windows image, so it's not a malware issue. 2. Chrome is allowed thru windows firewall. not a firewall issue and here I can speak with authority because I'm a network engineer. 3. Chrome is an exception on AVG av, so not an av issue. 4. doesn't affect other browsers. 5. Come on Google! I thought your software was going to 'just work'.
