Comment #2 on issue 28171 by [email protected]: Remove "Clear Browsing Data..." menu item from Chrome menu http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28171
Aaron.Train: It would still be accessible in preferences->personal stuff. ben: It's unusual to have keyboard shortcuts that are not bound to menu items on OS X. Having the shortcut bound to a menu item has the advantage that pressing the shortcut provides visual feedback (the menu that contains the item blinks) and gives the user the opportunity to change the menu item's shortcut in sysprefs. Adding a shortcut for "Clear browsing data..." and removing it from all menus feels a bit strange. Would it be ok to remove the item and not add a shortcut for this? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
