I consider it as a security hole because if your pc get stolen and your user is already logged in, the thief could also access to all the services you have saved a password in chromium, that's absolutely not good. So in my opinion the lack of a master password is a security problem. I perfectly know that j random hacker can break it, but I really hope that he could find more interesting things to do.
