Comment #3 on issue 29701 by mattgperry: [www.housebling.org.uk] Site
blocks Chrome
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29701

Hi there Glenn,

Well this is the bizarre thing - apart from the check to block Chrome
(which in the
/ajax version is removed), I serve no browser-specific code! I even had to
research
user agent strings just to serve the Chrome error message. However,
thinking this out
loud, as it were, perhaps jQuery is reading your Firefox user string and
running its
methods in a different way to when it sees a Chrome user string, and the
latter way
is bugged. I'll look into this and try a lower-level implementation!

Brain-meltingly, IT are so far refusing to install Flash on my Chrome
installation
because it's an 'alternative browser', a category that worryingly includes
every
browser bar IE7, so my opportunities to test this

Thanks for your help,
~Matt
