Putting the summary back - the log messages about
PowerSaveBlocker::ApplyBlock
shouldn't have anything to do with the failure. Their presence is
coincidental.
PowerSaveBlocker is not currently implemented on non-Windows platforms and
its
absence should not cause any ill effects other than that the application
won't inhibit
system sleep.
The original report says that extension installation fails when running
Chromium as
non-root but succeeds when running as root. Let's bark up that tree a
little bit more.
