Comment #9 on issue 12901 by [email protected]: Taskbar flickers in vista when chrome is maximized and loading new website, gmail, pandora http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=12901
Hey ninasamson and others and thanks for your comment. Is there anything that causes it to flicker, like loading a page or changing tab and loading a page? What we need to do is try and find something which we all have in common which causes the flicker to happen. That should help the developers isolate the problem. (Unfortunately, I have upgraded from vista two windows 7 on both PCs, so am not still having this problem.) I think (for me) the problem was only occurring when a page was loading, (I don't think any other windows were open). Unlike kelvinthegerbil, I did not have auto-hide enabled, so it can't be that. benjaminjamesharris says it happens with a shortcut to open full screen, but can I just ask if you mean "application view" or "press F11 to open full screen"?. I seem to remember that it happened more for me when using "application view" than normal, but I cannot rule out the problem happening with the normal view. ga.enzo.ag if you are sure that this is the first time you have seen it (i.e. the version number) how often do you update chrome? ninasamson might have a good point, could everyone try testing with and without other windows open? I think he might be on to something ^_^ Also, this may be irrelevant, but could everyone post their graphics card make/model (just in case!). Mine was an ATI raidonHD 3870 (running crossfire) and a Mobile Intel 965 Express [laptop]. Hope that made sense! (feel free to ask anything) Best regards, Philip -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
