Comment #48 on issue 6961 by grayshade: Double Clicking app window icon
doesn't close Chrome
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6961
Explorer doesn't have an icon in Vista and 7 (*as many have said* before on
this
thread), but double-clicking its corner still works. I understand that some
features
are more important than others and I've seen that the focus seems to have
moved to
Linux and Mac development, but I don't like seeing the users be
told "you're wrong,
you don't need/want this".
It reminds me of Firefox developers saying things like "No, it doesn't take
too long
to start or close, it's just your impression. And if you still want it to
be faster,
we'll make it start with Windows and sit in the notification area."
(Actually someone
proposed this for Chrome too).
So please try to fix this issue (I'm sure it's not too much of a technical
problem).
Or maybe someone can change the title of the bug to remove the word icon :).
