Comment #9 on issue 9154 by [email protected]: Chrome does not search
maps.google.com in the Omnibar
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=9154
I was able to perform the changes described. However, searchable url is for
the frame:
"http://maps.google.com/maps?
f=q&source=s_q&output=js&hl=en&geocode=&q={searchTerms}&btnG=Search+Maps"
If I search on maps.google.com with Chrome now, I go to frame's url and the
frame alone
looks very bad. Main frame URL is still maps.google.com. Is it ok to take
main frame's
URL and append URL parameter with query to it? I think it's not in general
case (though
it should work with Maps).
