(please forgive me if this not the right list)
Firefox has what they call search engine aliases, or keywords. In order to
select a specific search, one just types <keyword> <query> on the URL bar
which causes the query to be issued against a particular search engine.

I have 5+ search engines setup within FF and I just love them. They work as
shortcuts for websites I use heavily; for instance, I have a keyword for
each of my favorite dictionary websites. Here they are:

keyword, site
g, google.com
dc, dictionary.com
ud, urbandictionary.com
de, dict.tu-chemnitz.de
wp, wikipedia.org
tt, <my company's intranet search engine 1>
rr, <my company's intranet search engine 2>

So when I want to google something, I just type "g <something>", when I want
to lookup the meaning of a certain word, I just type "dc <word>" and so on.

Will something like that be supported by chromium?

Thanks,
-Gatis
