You're right.  I just noticed that myself.

I am playing with replacing my Bookmarks and other files in the app
data folder with symlinks (shortcuts) to the actual files in my
"Dropbox" (getdropbox.com) to see if I can use that to sync settings
between my home and work PCs, but the nightly that I installed on my
thumb drive ignores the other install's version of the Bookmark file
and just creates its own.

2 steps forward, 1 step back.
