You are correct Bob, that's exactly what I meant. I do not want to simply repackage all that is chrome and distribute it.
You are also right about the help file or documentation, that obviously could be handled over the web as well. Even if Chrome were to attain 50% market share in the browser space, there would still be 50% of the people I could still "distribute" my web application too. In relying solely on Chome in this way for my web application greatly reduces the things I need to consider as a web developer and that's a good thing...
