Thus defeating the purpose of using tabs, like I said I wanted.

I am on such a notebook and I still prefer them not there.

I realize I could adapt myself to it--it really wouldn't be TOO hard--
but we're not talking about software that is made once, never updated,
one size fits all, and worked on by coders who haven't seen the sun in
years, we're talking about a Google, open-source, browser. Modern
browsers are designed to be customizable, thus increasing the user's
efficiency, and convenient. I find the tabs bar being stuck up there
satisfies neither of these conditions. Google said this is supposed to
be a modern browser, designed for the complex modern web. It should
ALSO be designed for the modern complex USER.

I only find that a good reason they should default to that position.
It's true that it helped me fully grok the paradigm shift, but the
novelty's worn off, now that I got it.

That's true. I'm patient.

PS: It's less that I don't realize I might be being unreasonable and
more that I'd like what I'd like, and if it's at all possible, I'd
love it.
