I can see both sides. But for me, I also have trouble at work. I open
a secure shell to tunnel my browser over to bypass my work proxy. I
need to be able to set my browser to a different proxy then the rest
of my system.

So... The command line thing works well on a standard Chromium
install. I can't install programs at work, so I need something
portable. The portable version of Chromium does not seem to be able to
support command line options. Any suggestions?
