I think if you really want a good popup blocker, it's worth looking at
Opera and seeing how they do it. If a popup is blocked, it goes into a
list of blocked popups. At any time you can view this list and bring
up a popup that was blocked, so even if you initially miss it you can
find it and bring it back. This functionality is integrated with
bringing back tabs you've closed, I find it works very well.
