this is my first post here, and I'm a happy chrome user :) i have some issue when viewing Sinhala Language (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinhalese_language) Unicode (http://si.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sinhala_font) we pages, I tested this on Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1 with Chrome 1.0.154.36 99% of the time, every thing displays fine, but some sentences shows as boxed like it when the browser cant find the fonts it need. check the attached 2 images, one (chrome-sinhala-issue.jpg) shows Chrome not rendering some text and safari-sinhala-issue.jps shows, Safari displaying the same text perfectly. on the we page, only Unicode was used and no font formating was done. here the web page (http://shaakunthala.blogspot.com/2008/12/blog-post_30.html) have no issues with IE, Firefox and Safari. also chrome has an issue with Sinhala Input support, coz its not working at all. thanks a lot rgds Kalinga --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
