Going by that design document for the Throbber, wouldn't it be smaller
in size to do the Chrome logo with flashing colours (in a circle as
suggested, like the old Simon Says games)?
This idea would only take 4 frames, 8 if you wanted to do a tiny fade
between lights, whereas the current one is at 36, if i counted them
right.

If i could, i'd do a simple version of it right now, but i can't,
don't have the software at the moment.
Anyone up to making one?  (try compress it as well as regular
settings)
