The problem is that these buildbot versions seem to be for Chromium, rather than for the Google Chrome for Linux version I'm using on my Jaunty box. If I remember correctly, there were some difficulties in that Chromium builds for 64-bit systems were not then available, but perhaps that particular problem has now been resolved ? In any event, since my Google Chrome for Linux is working pretty well, save for the IME problem and its being rather sluggish about updating, I'd like to keep using it for the present. If anyone knows, however, how I can force an update to 3.0.194, which according to Darren works well with SCIM, I'd be most grateful to hear about it !...
