Alt+[LEFT ARROW KEY] (←) and Alt+[RIGHT ARROW KEY] (→) works for back and forward, but are a little out of the way when using the mouse and I don't use them much unless I've just finished typing something (or my left thumb happens to be resting on the alt key and my right hand is nowhere near the mouse).
