And how would Chrome recognize an HTML4 embedded search box?I believe HTML5 has a special input type for it or something (not sure!), but HTML4 does not officially support that. WebKit supports type="search" which inserts a magnifying glass icon in the text box, I believe, but it is just a WebKit thing.
