Personally i think the entire interface should be capable of being
moved anywhere.
This should really be pushed for as much as possible.
I, for one, hate the size of the interface in Chrome, it is the only
thing that really annoys me, it is way too big for my tastes.
The padding inside the buttons and address bar is pretty crazy too,
and the font size. 25% smaller? Oh yes yes yes.

Funny considering it was the small size of the interface that was one
of the major highlights of the browser, which is true with default
styles.
But even on Firefox, i have Stratini enabled and all my icons on one
bar, including bookmarks menu, currently that beats Chromes size.
(with bookmark bar off)
And you can bet there are probably much better themes and extensions
out there for minimizing the interface even more.

This also brings me to the tab bar, i would much rather have a
vertical tab bar than horizontal.
You can see significantly more information in vertical tabs, you can
fit more there, you can see related tabs quite easily via indentation.
(which is more important in Chrome than it is in Firefox, at the
moment)
Having the capability to move things would be great for Chrome.
Even if there was just a flag to hide the bar, you could use
extensions to access current tab information and construct your own,
that would be better.
