As far as I know, native binary applications can be supported if they are compiled with Google Native Client http://code.google.com/p/nativeclient/ Google made the NaCl platform for the exact purpose of running native binary programs within the context of a browser, just "like" it was a web application. But of course, it does take an entire recompile/rebuild of software using NaCl. NaCl will not just "autoconvert" or "autorun" previously made software. The question is whether Microsoft or any other software company will recompile and release "browser ready" versions of their binary software?
