This extension used to replace all of the bookmarks in Chrome with the bookmarks from Google Bookmarks. I am not sure it is still working, because the last update matched Dev Chrome 3.0.193, which is pretty old (four months ago, approximately). http://www.uniformedopinion.com/
If it works - note that it will *erase your current bookmarks, so back them up first, if they are necessary*.
