And Opera, Firefox, and IE don't do that? I thought all the major browsers "expands to full screen leaving minimal non-website clutter". I just retested all of them to confirm. The only browser without full screen mode is Safari. I would certainly like to know how Chrome is different or has the best ever full screen mode.
In fact, of the browsers that support full screen, Chrome has the worst ever full screen mode. It is the only browser that does not provide any method to enter another URL location while in full screen mode, and it does not provide any methods to view the tabs, bookmarks, or address bar while in full screen mode. All the Chrome developers ever do is obstinately close and refuse any requests for actual true improvements to the full screen mode. If any improvements to full screen mode are to be made, http://crbug.com/8022 - Add address bar and other controls to full screen mode must be fixed! -- Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss
