I've had to uninstall and give up on Google Chrome for OS X temporarily due to an issue with the bookmark sync option in the latest beta.
The problem is that having tidied up the bookmarks on my Windows machine, coming into work and starting to use the Mac has resulted in a mess of older links from the OS X version of Chrome. Having no bookmark manager in the betas is a complete pain in the arse, but eventually managed to delete all the bookmarks in the bookmark bar and Other Bookmarks. Tried a sync and then found all my old, non-wanted bookmarks and no bookmarks in the bookmark bar. I note that Google Docs is used to store the bookmark sync data, but one cannot edit the bookmarks themselves - it's read only. Which makes it even more of PIA.
