3. So you could change an existing external theme? If you are changing your own, there is no need for that (since you should use 'Load unpacked extension...'), obviously and supporting these in the extensions page for (not a lot, I guess) users that want to change other themes, does not seem so essential to me.
6. This may be a good idea.
