If you've been to Chartwell, you've undoubtably noticed that the bricks were laid with truly professional skill. Indeed, as many have noticed, Churchill was a member of the bricklayers' union.
Churchill did a number of various things in his life, but it should be noted that he never did anything less than topnotch - polo, painting, bricklaying. He was never satisfied with anything less than first class. Perhaps this is one of the things which should be remembered and emulated.
