The Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) yesterday broadcast an
interview with Professor Gabriel Gorodetsky discussing his book The Maisky
Diaries: Red Ambassasdor to the Court of St. James's 1932-1943.

While contributing to the project transcribing WSC's Appointments Diary for
the National Churchill Library and Center at The George Washington
University I was intrigued by the number of appointments with Maisky when he
does not figure prominently in the published literature.  This book promises
a new insight into relations with the USSR in this period.
