Victor,

This is a different solution to your problem, but in the near future, we should have a Shadow Copies of Shared Folders solution. ( see
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/scr.mspx ).

heya,

Before, I did try typing in the address directly into Explorer, and it gave me
an Access Denied error.

I've now set the snapdir=visible property, and the .zfs folder is indeed visible, to
ordinary users, however, when I try to open it, it's giving a "Access is
Denied" error.

I tried changing the permissions of the .zfs folder on the Solaris system, but
it says:

chmod: changing permissions of '.zfs/': Operation not applicable

Is there any way to make this accessible by ordinary users?

Cheers,
Victor
