Have a strange issue at one site. Have a build 101 installed and joined successfully to windows domain. Normal windows users can access shares through cifs server.
But any Domain Admin user seems to be mapping to the unix use "nobody" and the windows boxes ask to use to authenticate, which fails? Other sites I have have this same setup with no issues. Domain Admins authenticate OK. Where can I look for more info? I am using ephemeral IDs with no mappings in idmap. idmap dump shows the Domain Admin sid being mapped to an ephemeral ID - but dmesg shows smbd message that user "nobody" can not access share. Should I try to map Domain Admins to root, should I give "nobody" permissions to share of interest? Any tools or logs I should look at for more info? ???
