The only vaguely large file in those folders is in /etc/sys/volatile:

I've attached the output of "ps -e -o pid, vsz, args", since the only
line that really stood out to me was java:
728 100184 /usr/java/bin/java -server -Xmx128m -XX:+UseParallelGC
-XX:ParallelGCThreads=4
Nah, neither of those is big enough to be an issue.
df -k /tmp
swap -l
?
"more /var/svc/log/svc.startd.log" is also attached, it's absolutely full of:
May 20 08:39:53/3: svc:/network/smb/server:default: Method or service exit timed
out. Killing contract 114.
Not healthy, and clearly in our area. (Unfortunately, I'm not personally
an expert there. Afshin, any suggestions on diagnosis?)
And finally, the output of "grep core /var/svc/log/*" also seems
rather full and has been attached.
Yes. Not directly related to CIFS, but certainly not healthy.
I see a number of related-looking CRs against Cacao. "cacaoadm -V" please.
Probably not related to your CIFS problem, but worth investigating to
eliminate. I'll ask some Cacao people I know.
