Upon your request for the krb5.conf file I reran "dig srv
_ldap._tcp.gc._msdcs.{mydomain}" and found the list of domain controllers had
been changed since the last time I checked. The DC that was listed for the
kpasswd_server is no longer available due to hardware upgrades. Once I put an
available DC in that line I was able to join the domain.
